Job summary

Lancesoft in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a skilled welder to set up, tack and weld ferrous and nonferrous materials. You will follow welding procedure specifications and comply with welding codes, with emphasis on weld appearance and criticality.

Responsibilities include cutting, grinding, fitting, bending, inspecting welds, rework, and repairing according to procedures. Requires reading drawings and passing standards tests; GMAW certification or 3-5 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires use of complicated drawings, welding symbols, shop mathematics, weld shop tools, protractors, scales, squares, calipers, etc.
• Equivalent to four years of high school plus technical training in welding.
• Must pass any required tests associated with applicable standards, up to and including AWS, ISO, MIL STD, International, ASNT.
• GMAW Certification or 3-5 years of equivalent experience.

• Perform weld repairs per accepted procedures.
• Salvage and rebuild parts as directed.
