The Boring Company is seeking a skilled Welder to support underground operations in Nashville, TN. You will perform structural repairs, fabrication, and downtime fixes on a hard rock Main Beam TBM and its support systems, working closely with mechanics, electricians, and foremen.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years of welding experience (underground or heavy civil), with MIG, Stick, and torch skills. The role requires working in tight spaces and rotating shifts, while upholding safety standards.

Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions. We’re looking for a skilled Welder to support underground operations by performing structural repairs, fabrication, and critical downtime fixes on a hard rock Main Beam TBM and its support systems. This is a field-based role that requires quick thinking, strong technical skill, and the ability to work in tight spaces under demanding conditions. You’ll work directly with mechanics, electricians, and foremen to keep equipment safe, functional, and production-ready.
