Job summary

Westmor Industries, Inc. in Morris, MN is seeking a skilled welder to join our team. You will read blueprints, prepare weld surfaces, set up welder settings, and weld to codes and procedures while following safety rules for overhead cranes and forklifts.

We offer weekly pay, boot reimbursements, leading medical, dental and vision insurance, company paid life insurance, a 401K with 5% company match, and on-the-spot bonuses up to $100. Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and interpreting dimension styles.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Willing to train the right person.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE as required.

Job Description

• Reading and interpreting blueprint drawings and dimension styles


• Preparing weld surfaces as required


• Setting up correct welder settings


• Welding according to appropriate codes and procedures


• Following safe operating procedures for overhead cranes, forklifts, and other machinery


• Other duties as assigned

Compensation

• The starting pay range for this position is $20-$26 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.

Shift

• Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
