Job summary

Super Steel, LLC is seeking a skilled MIG welder to join our Mequon, WI manufacturing team. You will weld heavy carbon steel frames and assemblies per blueprints and fabrication specs.

Responsibilities include part fit-up, blueprint interpretation, quality inspection, and equipment maintenance; TIG welding may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

Job description

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• MIG Welding: Perform high-quality MIG welds on heavy carbon steel frames and structures.
• Part Fit-Up: Fit up your own parts and assemblies accurately according to blueprint specifications prior to welding
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, Technical Drawings, And Fabrication Specifications.
• Quality Inspection: Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with industry and ISO standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain welding tools and equipment; perform minor repairs and setups as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily manufacturing production goals.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Repair Support: Perform occasional TIG welding for minor equipment or weldment repairs as required.
