Job summary

Waste Pro USA is seeking a skilled welder to perform repairs and maintenance on equipment parts, vehicles and roll-off containers. The role involves welding, fabrication, and painting of repaired and new containers, with attention to safety and quality.

The welder will operate MIG and arc welders, cut and shape steel, and install lids and wheels on containers. Daily duties include keeping the shop clean, completing paperwork, and adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to perform repairs and maintenance on containers and equipment.
• Experience with MIG and arc welding.
• Ability to fabricate steel components and work with steel and aluminum.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains front, rear load, and roll-off containers.
• Welds steel and aluminum components using MIG and arc welding equipment.
• Cuts steel using plasma cutter or torch; bends and fabricates components.
• Installs lids and wheels on containers; paints repaired or new containers.
• Keeps shop clean and safe; follows safety policies; completes required paperwork.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

The welder performs repairs and maintenance to equipment parts, vehicles and roll-off containers. Paints repaired and/or new containers.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance on front and rear load, and roll-off containers. Cuts/welds repairs to vehicle floors, bodies, packing blades, rails, fabrication.


• Welds steel and aluminum components using MIG gun and arc welding equipment.


• Bends steel components using a break ad shear.


• Cuts steel using a plasma cutter or torch.


• Fabricates steel components on trucks and containers.


• Installs lids and wheels on containers.


• paints repaired and/or new containers.


• Sweeps up the container shop welding debris, grease, working environment, takes out the garbage and ensure that the shop is keep clean and safe on a daily basis.


• Follows all safety policies and procedures.


• Completes required paperwork.


• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
