Job summary

Ebsco Subscription Services España SL is looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Fabrication Welder to join our manufacturing team in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly, proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, and the ability to interpret blueprints. High standards of quality and safety are expected.

Pay Range: $53,300.00 to $68,300.00

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabrication Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will fabricate, assemble, and weld sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and spot-welding machines.
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble sheet metal parts and subassemblies.
• Perform welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, and other sheet metal materials.
• Grind, clean, and finish welded assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance using measuring tools and gauges.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as shears, saws, and grinders.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.
• Maintain welding equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
