Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a certified welder with entry-level experience to join our team building custom boat trailers. The role focuses on MIG welding of aluminum and steel and requires at least one year of experience plus the ability to pass a welding test.

The position is temporary-to-permanent, with a Monday–Friday 7:00 am to 3:45 pm schedule. Pay depends on experience; safety footwear is required. Located in Florida, this role includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Certified in welding and fabrication.
• MIG welding on aluminum and steel.
• Able to read work orders and prints.
• Able to pass welding test.
• Safety-conscious and able to wear steel-toe shoes.

Responsibilities

• Develops welding projects by analyzing orders, prints, and requirements.
• Collects materials by studying specs; orders supplies and gases.
• Fabricates components using equipment; sets up assemblies and measures.
• Verifies welds by inspection and testing.
• Documents actions by completing records.
• Maintains a safe work environment per procedures and laws.
• Keeps equipment running by following instructions and maintenance.
• Contributes to manufacturing goals by completing related tasks.

Great opportunity for Certified Welders with entry-level experience!Building custom trailers for boats, by MIG Welding parts together that are made of Aluminum and Steel. The right candidate will need to have at least a year of experience and be able to past a Welding test.

• Pay Rate will depending experience
• Schedule; Monday thru Friday - 7am till 3:45pm
• You will also be provided with 2-10 minutes break and a 30 minute lunch
• This is a Temp to Perm position
• You will be required to wear steel toes shoes for safety purposes

Duties:

1. Develops welding projects by analyzing work orders, prints, and completed assembly; calculating requirements; studying metals; determining appropriate welding techniques.
2. Collects equipment and materials by studying specifications and component requirements; ordering supplies and gases.
3. Fabricates components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting-up and measuring assemblies; selecting appropriate method.
4. Verifies welding results by inspecting and testing welds.
5. Documents actions by completing records.
6. Maintains safe work environment by following procedures; complying with legal regulations.
7. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
8. Accomplishes manufacturing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
