As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components for oil rigs, pipelines, and other industrial projects. Your work will be critical to ensuring the safety and efficiency of these structures. You will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality.
As a Welder, you will use your expertise in welding and fabrication to ensure the safety and efficiency of critical industrial structures. You will need to be highly skilled in a variety of welding techniques and materials, and be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. You will also need to be a strong communicator and collaborator, working closely with other members of the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are also essential skills for this role.
Must be able to climb, bend, sit, walk, kneel, crawl, stand, push, and pull frequently. Must maintain 3-point contact while climbing ladders. Ability to lift 5-25 pounds frequently and ability to lift, up to, 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to wear the following safety equipment when needed; life vests, ear protection, rubber gloves, leather gloves, hard hat, slicker suit, acid suit, rubber gloves, full face breathing mask, wearing full safety harness, or wearing a face shield. The heavy work will require exertion of up to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
