Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a skilled welder to fabricate and assemble metal parts in a manufacturing setting. You will read blueprints, set MIG weld parameters, and perform cutting, deburring, punching, and shearing to meet specifications.

The role requires operating overhead crane and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, with a strong emphasis on quality and attendance.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and perform basic measurements.
• Accurately set MIG welding machines to required heat and amperage.
• Able to cut, form, deburr, punch, and shear metal materials.

Welds a variety of fabricated parts, structural steel and related materials in accordance with established engineering and manufacturing specifications to produce commercial weldments within reasonable and/or expected time frames.Accurately sets and maintains MIG welding machines to required heat and amperage.Cuts, forms, deburs, punches, and shears a variety of metal materials.Sets up and operates all required manually controlled fabrication machinery and hand operated tools.Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.Uses overhead crane and moving equipment from pallet jack through forklift.Able to read tape measure and perform basic mathMust be familiar with blueprintsMust be able to continuously produce a leak proof productAble to use pallet jack, forklift, and overhead craneReliable transportation a mustHigh level attention to detailAble to stand for long periods of timeStrict adherence to attendance policy required
