Job summary

Lippert is seeking a Welder to join our manufacturing team in Elkhart, IN. You will add value by assembling components and sub‑assemblies, weld or repair defects, and work with fixturing per process specs.

The role requires experience in manufacturing, adherence to safety rules, ability to set up welding equipment and perform GMAW, and rotation across production teams to meet schedules. Excellent housekeeping and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.

Summary/Objective:

The Welder is responsible for adding value in the process flow by accurately assembling various components and/or sub‑assemblies into specified fixturing and joining by welding or repairing defective welds

Required Education and Experience

Physical Demands:

While performing duties of the job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active - while performing this job the team member is regularly standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching, handling, and climbing all day. The team member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the team member works around moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, and conveyer roller lines. This position requires personal protective equipment such as work gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, cut resistant sleeves, and seasonal gear which will be provided (contingent on position).

Additional items required but not included are steel toed shoes or boots with metatarsal guards.

This is a full‑time hourly position, and hours of work and days are decided by production or General Manager
