Job summary

Motion & Flow Control Products Inc in California is seeking a Welder to join our fabrication team. You will weld metal components using arc and gas equipment, read sketches and operation sheets, and align parts for flat, horizontal, or vertical assemblies.

You’ll set up and operate welding equipment and maintain welding specifications. The ideal candidate typically has a technical degree and 1–4 years of related experience.

• 1–4 years of welding experience preferred.
• Experience with arc and gas welding equipment is a plus.

SUMMARY:Under general supervision, the Welder uses hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches to weld together metal components (flat, horizontal, or vertical plates and pipes). The Welder is responsible for assisting with the entire sequence of cutting and welding operations for a wide variety of repair and fabrication work.
