Responsibilities

• Checks the quality of all metal parts before assembling for welding, cutting, or cleaning as necessary.
• Conducts thorough inspections of welded products, visually examining it for obvious defects.
• Repairs products that are defective by dismantling, reshaping and fusing them back.
• Meets production deadlines; follows routes and process times, notifying supervisor of any deviations.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Performs these and other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Duties

Education/Experience
