Job summary

Energy Job Shop in Boyce, LA is seeking Structural Welders to join our teams on large-scale construction and plant projects. You will create frames for structures, weld pipe, plate, or structural steel, and work in both shop and jobsite environments.

Ideal candidates are safety-conscious, able to produce quality work efficiently, and comfortable with varied conditions, from outdoors to confined spaces.

Qualifications

• Set up equipment and weld pipe, plate, or structural steel using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment.
• Move around active construction and project sites, including uneven terrain and elevated work surfaces.
• Read, interpret, and apply work instructions, plans, and safety requirements.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate with team members.
• Obtain welding certification as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Physical ability to move throughout active construction and project sites, including uneven terrain and elevated work surfaces
• Ability to lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Comfort working in various environments, including outdoors and confined spaces
