Eaton’s ES GEIS BLDdivision is currently seeking aWeld Technician - 3rd Shift at our Troy, IL facility! The core hours are Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

The hourly rate for this position is$26.46 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift differential per hour.

What you’ll do:

The Welding Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of welded components. The technician will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols, participating in quality inspections, and collaborating within a cross-functional team of skills welders.

In this function, you will:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure weld integrity and product standards.
• Equipment used in this role includes robotic welders, hand welders, progressive welders, and AutoMig welding equipment.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• A minimum of six (6) months’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
