Examining and resolving defects in work pieces using various technologies, tools and equipment. Identify root causes and provide feedback to operations. Adhering to quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure that work pieces are fabricated according to instructions. Utilizing process and product audits to maintain a manufacturing process to weld metal parts together in required configurations. Utilizing expertise of various manual or automatic welding systems to safely and accurately fabricate a quality metal structure. Degree or equivalent experience desired
All training will be on 1st shift for up to 2 months before moving to hired shift.
$29.60 - $38.50 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
