Job summary

Module X Solutions is seeking a Weld Robot Operator to safely and efficiently run robotic welding systems for structural steel components. You will read blueprints and weld specs, load/unload with cranes or forklifts, set up programs, monitor weld quality, and document production data while ensuring a clean 5S-aligned workspace.

Applicants should have 1–3 years of robotic welding experience, familiarity with GMAW/MIG and FCAW, and the ability to operate cranes and forklifts.

Qualifications

Minimum 1–3 years operating robotic welding equipment or automated manufacturing systems.
Experience in structural steel fabrication, modular manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments.
Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts preferred.
Experience with robotic programming or robotic welding systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate robotic welding equipment to weld structural steel components per drawings and production schedules.
Interpret shop drawings, weld symbols, work orders, and fabrication specs.
Load/position/unload steel components using cranes or material handling equipment.
Set up robotic welding programs, fixtures, tooling, and parameters.
Monitor welding operations and adjust parameters as needed.
Inspect welded components for quality and dimensional compliance.
Perform preventive maintenance on robotic welding equipment.
Record production data, weld counts, material usage, and downtime.
