Job summary

K+S Services, a SunSource company, seeks a skilled Welder/Repair Technician to troubleshoot and repair non-automated and robotic welders, including Lincoln Electric and Miller Electric. You will read electrical and mechanical prints, document tests, and travel for training as needed.

Responsibilities include teardown, evaluation, cleaning, testing, maintaining weld room safety, and effective communication across teams. Strong organizational skills and basic computer proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing welding equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical prints and schematics.
• Basic computer skills including email and standard Office apps.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair of non-automated and robotic welders including but, not limited to Lincoln Electric and Miller Electric.
• Perform teardown, evaluation, cleaning, troubleshooting, repairing and testing of welders.
• Maintain evaluation notes and work with group leader to establish cost to repair based on parts required and labor requirements.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints, as well as wiring schematics.
• Create and document test procedures.
• Maintain and ensure cleanliness of weld room and bench.
• Willing to travel to both Miller Electric and Lincoln Electric training centers to become certified.
• Communicate efficiently and effectively within all facets of the company.
• Work independently and stay on task.
• Basic computer skills (email & other “Office” applications).
• Willing to become hi‑lo/crane certified.
• Must have good organizational skills & maintain good housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
