Job summary

KinderCare is seeking an Assistant Center Director to help lead teaching staff, support families, and reach enrollment, accreditation, and operational targets. This role emphasizes collaboration with parents and building strong relationships with licensing authorities and community partners.

The position requires 2+ years in early childhood education, strong organizational and communication skills, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), and the ability to fulfill state

• Two years of early childhood education experience required.
• Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and applying them in the classroom.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Job description

• Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
