Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking hands-on Attendants to help keep a Safety Rest Area in St.

Marys, GA clean, safe, and welcoming for travelers. You will work under the Site Supervisor on indoor and outdoor cleaning, maintenance, and grounds tasks, with opportunities to develop skills and contribute to a dependable team. Responsibilities include restroom care, building upkeep, grounds maintenance, snow/ice handling in winter, and promoting a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from the Company office.
• Driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to comply with the Company Drug and Alcohol Policy.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and building surfaces.
• Maintain grounds, landscaping, and outdoor areas.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain parking lots and sidewalks.
• Shovel snow and apply ice melt for safety.
• Promote safety and teamwork on site.
• Assist with other duties as needed.

Join U.S. Facilities, Inc. (USF), a trusted national provider of facilities management and infrastructure support services. We are building a team of dependable, hands-on Attendants for an upcoming opportunity to help keep a Safety Rest Area in St. Marys , GA clean, safe, and welcoming for every traveler who stops by. Working under the direction of the Site Supervisor, you will handle a variety of cleaning, maintenance, and grounds care tasks inside and outside the facility. Please note that this is an anticipated opening; hiring and start dates depend on business needs, and submitting an application does not guarantee an offer of employment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Restroom and Building Care

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, urinals, fixtures, mirrors, and countertops.
• Keep paper towel, soap, and other dispensers fully stocked.
• Sweep and mop support rooms, vacuum carpeted areas, and strip and wax floors.
• Clean windows, dust desks and surfaces, and empty trash containers in the office and garage.
• Handle light building maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs and painting where needed.

Grounds and Landscaping

• Keep picnic areas, pet rest areas, and all other grounds clean and inviting.
• Blow and sweep sidewalks and picnic pavilions.
• Maintain shrub beds, including mulching, shrub trimming, and planting.

Parking Lots and Sidewalks

• Sweep parking lots and sidewalks and pick up litter.
• Repair cracks and holes, paint parking lines, and maintain signs.
• Keep a list of needed repairs so issues can be addressed quickly.

Winter Weather

• Shovel snow and apply ice melt to keep walkways safe for travelers.

Safety and Teamwork

• Help promote a culture of safety to reduce or eliminate accidents and injuries.
• Contribute to a positive work environment where teamwork is the foundation of everything we do.
• Lead by example with professionalism and a strong work ethic.
• Additional or different duties may be assigned as necessary to meet evolving business needs and operational requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Reliable transportation to and from the Company office.
• Current, valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record preferred.
• Ability to comply with the Company Drug and Alcohol Policy.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to lift fifty to sixty pounds (50–60 lbs.).
• Ability to perform hands‑on cleaning, maintenance, and grounds work, both indoors and outdoors.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed inside the rest area facility and outdoors on the surrounding grounds, including picnic areas, pet rest areas, parking lots, and walkways. Outdoor work includes seasonal tasks such as landscaping, snow removal, and applying ice melt.
