Job summary

Weeks Marine, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager/Project Engineer to manage administrative and technical aspects of construction projects, lead a team of field and cost engineers, and serve as the information conduit between project management and the engineering team.

The role may involve acting as Project Manager on smaller projects and developing team members. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction or engineering, with proven leadership, scheduling, and cost-control

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a relatable field is required/preferred.
• 7+ years’ work experience in construction or engineering.
• 2+ years' experience managing engineers.
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Position Overview

As an Operations Manager/Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the administrative and technical aspects of constructing a project, managing a team of field and cost engineers. In this role, you will be the main conduit of information between the Project or Construction Manager and the team for cost, revenue, cash flow information; and therefore requires strong interpersonal and time management skills. Project Engineers may work as the Project Manager on some of our smaller projects and will be expected to develop the team below them.

Base Compensation: $87,825 - $131,738

(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
