Job summary

Meijer is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver efficient, welcoming customer service at the checkout lane. You will create positive experiences, handle transactions accurately, and help resolve customer questions with care.

You will be the last touchpoint a customer has before leaving the store and play a key role in turning everyday moments into meaningful moments for Meijer customers.

Qualifications

• You’re 18 years of age or older.
• You enjoy working with people and providing great service.
• You’re comfortable learning and using technology.
• You listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized.
• You’re dependable, detail‑oriented, and eager to help.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
