Job summary

Mystic Lake Casino Hotel is seeking a bartender to join its premier casino resort and entertainment destination. You will bartend in a fast-paced, fun scene, taking orders, preparing drinks, and handling payments with a POS system while delivering outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities include setting up the bar, stocking, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting team members. You will follow alcohol-safety rules, engage with guests, and provide casino information as needed.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
One year of bartending experience or bartending education/training.
Ability to work a varying schedule.
Knowledge of point-of-sale systems a plus.
Demonstrate knowledge of Alcohol Awareness rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

Takes guest drink orders, prepares and serves drinks according to recipes; processes charges at the POS and handles various payment methods.
Sets up and stocks the bar prior to opening; prepares garnishes and requests supplies as needed.
Maintains cleanliness of the bar area and equipment; locks up as required.
Assists Bar Back or kitchen staff with glassware and bar supplies organization.
Observes responsible alcohol service guidelines; refuses sales to underage or intoxicated guests.
Interacts with guests to ensure exceptional service and resolves complaints.
Answers guests’ questions and provides casino information.
