Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a Weekend Soccer Instructor & Official to mentor volunteer coaches, teach soccer fundamentals, and help run safe, fun game days for kids aged 3-14. You’ll balance coaching duties with officiating duties to ensure engaging sessions and fair play.

The role is ideal for students, coaches, educators, or sports enthusiasts who enjoy weekend work and want to advance into leadership while gaining online training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of soccer rules, skills, and game play.
• Previous coaching, playing, or officiating experience preferred.
• Available to work weekends throughout each season and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support volunteer coaches during practices and game days.
• Teach soccer fundamentals with age-appropriate instruction and demonstrations.
• Officiate games to keep them safe, fun, and instructional while promoting sportsmanship.
