Job summary
EnergySolutions is seeking a safety-conscious team member to support waste processing, logistics, and shipping operations. After training, you will transition to a weekend schedule with 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, performing a variety of duties across loading, unloading, data entry, and package tracking.
You will work with equipment and follow procedures to ensure accurate shipping and storage, while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience in waste processing, logistics, or waste management
- Basic knowledge of shipping, receiving, tracking, and storage operations
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing and physical
- Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) certification
Responsibilities
- Operates a broad range of equipment and tools as directed
- Reads and interprets manuals and procedures for equipment use
- Generates and reviews shipping documentation and enters data
- Applies labeling and placards to packages for shipment
- Inspects and loads outbound shipments and unloads inbound shipments
- Tracks packages electronically from arrival to departure
- Participates in safety walkdowns and hazard analyses
- Performs other duties as assigned
