Schedule: every weekend and Wednesday, 7am–7pm, emphasizing collaboration with the wound care physician and nursing staff. Responsibilities include wound assessment and treatment, resident and family education, and ensuring policy compliance while maintaining open communication with physicians and regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Wound Care certification and CPR required.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between wound care physician and nursing staff.
• Develop and implement wound care program objectives.
• Provide staff development and educational programming.
• Monitor compliance with policies and standards of practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to promote wound healing.
• Provide direct resident care for wound assessment, treatment and follow-up.
