Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring Warehouse Associates in Opa Locka, FL. The role includes first-shift hours, weekly pay, and a strong benefits package. You will operate RF scanners and pallet jacks, and support distribution across the US.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent), forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training is provided and safety is prioritized on every shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up/sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks).
• Powered industrial truck certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning is correct.
• Train dock staff on new procedures and maintain security at end of shift.
• Perform picking and packing duties and verify product integrity.
• Maintain housekeeping and assist in continuous improvement.
