Job summary

Terraces at San Joaquin Gardens - HumanGood in Fresno, CA is seeking a part-time Waitstaff/Server to support dining services for residents and guests. Shifts are between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM, with weekend and holiday availability required.

You will take menu orders, serve meals promptly and graciously, and help maintain a clean dining area. Prior food service experience and a friendly, resident-focused approach are essential; ServSafe or Food Handler certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience in a restaurant or fast-food setting.
• Experience working with seniors is preferred.
• Availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up, clear and clean the dining room and reset for service.

Description

Shift: Part-time position, looking for an individual with open availability to work shifts between 7:00 AM and 3:00 P.M., weekend and holiday availability required

Pay: $17 - $20/hr DOE

The Waitstaff/Server’s day-to-day work includes routinely setting up, clearing and cleaning, and resetting the dining room. You would take menu orders and serve residents' and guests' meals promptly and graciously. You will be providing quality customer service to residents and guests.

To be successful in the role, you would have:

• Prior food service, fast food, or restaurant experience
• Prior experience working with seniors (preferred)
• Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification (preferred)
• Availability that might include evenings, weekends, & holidays
