Job summary

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer Visitor Verification - Weekends in Marion, OH. You will provide customer service to employees and visitors while enforcing access control at a manufacturing and industrial site.

Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to use our Claim a Shift platform to explore additional roles, with equipment like a

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and access control policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying identification, visitor authorization, contractor credentials, and delivery documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate access-related logs, visitor records, key or badge issuance records, and incident documentation as required.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and/or facility concerns.
