Job summary

adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a BC/BE Vascular & Interventional Radiology physician for locum tenens coverage in Las Cruces, NM. The role requires weekend call coverage and day coverage 9a–5p, with on-call duties and collaboration with hospital staff.

Coverage is ASAP – ongoing with travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided by vendor. Average daily volume is 15–18 patients; EMR Medhost used; no hospital privileges needed immediately.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/Board-eligible in Vascular & Interventional Radiology.
• NM medical license required.
• Fellowship in IR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekend call coverage for vascular and interventional radiology services.
• Perform interventional radiology procedures during day coverage (9a–5p).
• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies and communicate findings.
• Manage on-call consults and emergency cases.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and hospital staff.
