Job summary

University Health in Kansas City, MO is seeking a part-time Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (weekend/alt) for 24 hours per week. You will perform ultrasound imaging for vascular and general studies, supporting radiologists in inpatient and outpatient settings to directly impact patient care.

Ideal candidates will have graduated from an accredited ultrasound program, be ARDMS/ARRT eligible, hold or pursue BCLS, and demonstrate strong communication and independence in a collaborative imaging team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
• Registered with ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) upon hire, or within 12 months.
• BCLS certification required and maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and specialized ultrasound imaging, including vascular studies, with precision and compassion.
• Support radiologists and residents during complex or advanced studies.
• Act as a technical resource in your specialty area for colleagues across the imaging department.
• Uphold imaging standards while working independently and collaboratively across care settings.
