Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for the Booneville, MS distribution center to support weekend operations.

The role focuses on final inspection of upholstered pieces, ensuring seams and finishes meet stringent standards, and maintaining safety and cleanliness throughout the shift. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of upholstery quality inspection experience, strong math and reading skills, and the ability to read production tickets.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of inspection experience in quality operations in upholstered furniture.
• This is an onsite and in office role.
• Good math and reading skills.
• Experience in reading and understanding production tickets.
• Ability to interpret simple instructions commonly placed in a production manual.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
• Good communication skills – oral and written and the ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
• Have good problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively as a team with other associates and managers.
• Excellent time-management skills including ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Have a strong sense of urgency and time management to meet established deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Inspect final upholstery pieces to ensure seams, accuracy, and finish meet PRD specifications.
• Clean up and prepare covers for inspection, cutting strings and detailing as needed.
• Scan tickets and move approved pieces to the next processing step.
• Maintain area cleanliness and adhere to safety policies throughout the shift.
• Ensure stickers, labels, and tagging are in the correct locations.
• Suggest improvements to current techniques and processes.
