Job summary

Prosegur Security is seeking a Weekend Unarmed Security Supervisor for a corporate facility in Ridgefield, CT. This full-time role ensures a safe environment by patrolling, monitoring, and enforcing policies, with a focus on customer service.

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 7am–11pm (32 hours). Pay rate: $23.00/hour. Requirements include CT Guard Card, high school diploma, 3 years security experience, 2 years supervisory experience, and strong communication. Benefits are offered by Prosegur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CT Guard Card/License required.
• Minimum 3 years security experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervisor security experience.
• Open availability to work all shifts and schedules.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Must be able to walk/run up flights of stairs daily.
• Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods.
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior.

Responsibilities

• Supervise entrance and departure of employees and visitors to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises.
• Answer telephone calls and provide information during non-business hours.
• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Enforce facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergencies requiring security assistance.
• Oversees the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff.
• Escort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals to locations or provide protection.
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs).
• Supervise for irregular or unusual activity.
