Qualifikationen

• Current BLS certification (AHA).

• Minimum 2 years of sonography experience.
• Must be able to scan pediatric patients, including frequent abdominal cases.

Aufgaben

• Hospital-based sonography unit with 4 rooms and 4 machines.
• Caseload of 12-15 cases per tech per day.
• Pediatric patient population with a high volume of abdominal/stomach cases.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• 12-hour shifts, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 0700-1930.
• Every weekend schedule required, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts if offered.
• Holiday coverage worked into the schedule.
• No on-call requirements.
• Floats as needed to Inova Alexandria Hospital offsite locations.
• One week of floor orientation provided.
• Black scrubs required.
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates accepted at a lower rate.
• Former permanent employees may return 12 months after their last worked shift.
