Job summary

Associated Thermoforming Inc. is seeking a dependable Forming Operator to join our weekend production team.

The role involves operating forming machinery, performing basic adjustments, and ensuring products meet quality standards before moving to the next stage of production. Positions range from Level 1 through Level 3, enabling you to gain additional technical knowledge, machine operation skills, and responsibilities as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Dependable, team-oriented with ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn machinery, processes, and new production skills.
• Ability to read and follow Process Instructions and production documentation.
• Basic computer skills for timekeeping and production entry.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forming machinery and monitor equipment throughout the production process.
• Perform production tasks including cutting, trimming, band sawing, deburring, sanding, cleaning, and packaging as required.
• Read and follow Process Instructions to ensure products meet established quality standards.
• Load and unload forming molds, fixtures, and parts with assistance when needed.
• Use routers, band saws, and other approved production tools and equipment.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and mechanical adjustments based on training and experience.
