Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC is looking for a Tennis Coach to lead K-5 classes across Bay Area elementary schools and recreation centers. Classes run 1–1.5 hours, two or more days weekly, with shifts from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

You’ll guide groups of 8–16 students and smaller clinics, creating a fun, engaging and supportive learning environment. No mandatory teaching credential required, but USPTA/PTR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• USPTA/PTR certification preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage classes of 8-16 students (ages 5-10) for after-school programs.
• Instruct students in a positive, engaging manner and create a supportive learning environment.
• Take attendance, communicate with parents and school staff, and provide progress feedback.
• Participate in training and set up/transport tennis equipment for classes.
