Job summary

This position works one-on-one with a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver direct patient care and delegated tasks, including obtaining vital signs, phlebotomy, documentation, ADL assistance, supply management, and responding to patient call lights.

You will join a collaborative, team-oriented unit focused on patient-centered care, adhering to university policies and federal and state regulations, while maintaining safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Provide direct patient care in collaboration with an RN.
• Obtain vital signs and perform phlebotomy.
• Assist with activities of daily living and document care.
• Lift/move patients up to 100 pounds daily and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Execute delegated tasks and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Respond to patient call lights and coordinate with nursing staff.
• Support unit operations: order and stock supplies, assist with admissions/discharges as needed.
• Maintain compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and safety standards.
