Job summary

Artisan Direct is seeking an independent contractor to install and pick up temporary weekend signs in the Athens, AL area, Abbey Brook community. Work windows are Friday 5:00 PM–Saturday 10:00 AM for installation and Sunday 6:00 PM–Monday 8:00 AM for pickup.

Signs are light, provided by Artisan Direct, and no benefits are offered. The role requires a valid driver’s license, insurance, a reliable vehicle, and a smartphone to use the company app.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
18+ years old.
Reliable vehicle with space to transport 30+ signs.
Smartphone (Android or iPhone) capable of running our mobile app.
Ability to lift and place signs outdoors.
Ability to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into ground during first weekend.

Responsibilities

Use Artisan Direct’s mobile app to report installation and pickup of signs at specified locations.
Install signs every weekend between Friday 5 PM and Saturday 10 AM.
Pickup the same signs between Sunday 6 PM and Monday 8 AM.
Store signs and extra stakes safely during the week.
Submit a weekly invoice and order replacement inventory after completing pickup - using our website.
