Job summary

Lippert, a global manufacturer and supplier, is hiring for a weekend warehouse position in Indiana. The role involves unloading trucks, inventory control, and ensuring timely stock for production lines while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

• Maintain stocked production lines and keep work area clean and safe.

Essential Functions

• Unload trucks using a scanner or pick list generated by Supervisor/Manager
• Performs all computer functions necessary to complete job
• Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with department leader to rectify damages and shortages - specifically relating to glass
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department leader
• Responsible for keeping production lines stocked with glass according to schedule
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
