Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate at our Olive Branch distribution center to load and unload merchandise, verify items, and prepare shipments for loading.

You will operate forklift-type equipment, replenish pick areas, and carry out general housekeeping while following safety and quality guidelines. This full-time role offers steady schedules in a fast-paced DC environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise from trailers.
• Check, verify, and audit merchandise, entering data into remote data terminals to confirm accuracy and ensure items are not damaged.
• Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise for relocation to appropriate areas within the distribution center.
• Operate forklift-type equipment to move and store merchandise, replenishing pick areas based on replenishment screens or requested items.
• Fill merchandise orders by selecting and moving items from active locations to conveyors, slots, or boxes for order fulfillment.
• Load merchandise onto trailers by moving from conveyor or pallet, scanning non-conveyable or non-diverted items before loading.
• Verify shipment accuracy, ensuring merchandise is not damaged and is loaded onto the correct trailer.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Carry out varied duties as assigned by department needs, with assignments changing according to distribution center requirements.
