Job summary

Visiting Angels Utah County is seeking an Evening Shift Caregiver to join our team and provide in-home care, enabling seniors to live safely and comfortably in their own homes in Utah County.

You will assist with personal care, daily activities, and nighttime support, while maintaining records and communicating with families and healthcare professionals. Flexible scheduling with options for part-time and full-time roles is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare or senior care industry preferred.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide respite care for family members can rest, knowing that their loved one has a caregiver who can help with nighttime assistance
• Perform ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) including meal prep and light housekeeping, run errands and occasional transportation
• Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Provide safety and security measures to prevent falls and injuries
• Friendly companionship
