SMS InfoComm Corporation is seeking a Server Repair Tech in Grapevine, TX. The role focuses on testing, diagnosing, and replacing parts on servers sent for repair, with daily duties including documenting results and collaborating with QC and motherboard teams.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and knowledge of common server models. This is a day shift, on-site position in a warehouse-like environment requiring physical activity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Read and write English.
• Prefer 1 year of Repair Depot experience.
• Knowledge of common server models (ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, Apple, Acer).
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and diagnose servers.
• Replace parts as needed.
• Conduct and analyze server stress tests.
• Document symptoms, test results, and parts replaced in the shop floor tool.
• Collaborate with motherboard repair, motherboard testing, QC, and inspections personnel.
• Provide backup for QC, inspection, and motherboard testing.
• Maintain parts consumption.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
