Job summary

Visiting Angels of Tyler is seeking a Weekend Caregiver to support seniors across East Texas, including Tyler and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible weekend shifts (8–12 hours, PRN) and opportunities for growth while delivering compassionate home care with dignity.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, meal planning, mobility support, medication prompts, and safe transport. Requires a high school diploma and ability to pass screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to communicate and connect with seniors.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping tasks.
• Encourage exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt medications at the right times.
• Assist with shopping and putting away groceries.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients' preferences.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation as needed.
