Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment at a busy Peabody, MA retail property. The role requires vigilant observation, strong customer service, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents.

Shifts are Fri-Sun with afternoon/evening hours and weekend availability. Prior security or customer service experience is preferred. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in security or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Basic computer skills for reporting.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the property, including interior and exterior areas.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Provide assistance and directions to visitors, tenants, and staff.
• Enforce property rules, regulations, and policies.
• Write detailed incident and daily activity reports.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Identify and report safety hazards or suspicious activity.
