Job summary

Afognak Native Corporation is seeking Security Screener personnel for a part-time, weekend and overnight shift at our Key West facility. You will inspect visitors and personnel, provide access control, and operate screening equipment to ensure compliance with government security regulations.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to interact with diverse personnel including DoD staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contract requirements.
• Armed officers must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to interact effectively with the general public, DoD personnel and all ranks of military, civilians and visitors.
• Must be able to work alone for at least 3 hours while monitoring and screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control to the controlled facility.
• Conduct personnel and package inspections as authorized by law and post orders.
• Operate X-Ray machines, Mantraps/Portals, Walk-Thru Detectors, or hand wands.
