Job summary

Westminster Jefferson Center in Sarasota is seeking a part-time security guard for Saturdays and Sundays 8am–4pm to protect community property from fire, theft, vandalism and unauthorized entry, while assisting residents and staff as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include promoting Legendary Service, acting professionally, supporting security duties under supervision, and performing related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and communicates Legendary Service and upholds the mission of the organization.
• Responds professionally in all interactions.
• Supports security duties under supervision of the maintenance director or administrator.
• Performs security duties regularly within a reasonable scope of practice.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
