Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time - Weekends) in Lincolnshire, IL. You will patrol and monitor a technology-focused site, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

The role emphasizes an unarmed presence, reporting, and adhering to site procedures. The position offers weekend hours with a pay rate of $22.60 per hour, and opportunities for growth through our shift-claim platform and training programs.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entry points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
