Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for the Weekend - 1st Shift in Hebron, KY. This part-time position involves patrolling, responding to incidents, and providing excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

You will monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain a visible, welcoming security presence with professionalism. The role requires candidates to meet minimum requirements, including a high school diploma and age eligibility, with preferred CPR certification.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, or telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders while following post orders and applicable policies.
