Barbier Security Group in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a part-time security officer for Saturday and Sunday shifts. The role focuses on patrol and incident response to keep clients safe, with an hourly rate of $27.50.

Ideal candidates have a Guard Card, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to report clearly in English. The position requires standing/walking for extended periods, the ability to handle emergencies, and reliable transportation to on-site locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; California Guard Card License preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required for applicable sites.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work weekends.
• Experience in security, mobile patrol, or event staff is a plus.
• Pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of assigned areas, including multi-level buildings and outdoor spaces.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and incidents; de-escalate and communicate effectively.
• Operate security equipment (radios, locks, keys) with accuracy.
• Maintain logs and write reports in clear, professional English.
• Uphold professionalism and client policies while on duty.
