Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Weekend Security Officer to safeguard client properties and personnel. The role emphasizes strong customer service, patrol responsibilities, and reliable technology use to monitor premises and respond to incidents.

The position supports flexible hours including weekends, with weekly pay and opportunities for growth within the company. Training and a path toward security specialties are provided.

Qualifications

• TWIC card required.
• 3rd shift, weekend hours.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to complete patrols.
• Strong technology skills (cell phone/computer).
• Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at a client site to maintain security and safety of property and personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols and maintain situational awareness across assigned locations.
• Perform physical requirements including sitting/standing/walking for long periods; lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Security Officer/Guard

• Security Positions are Full and Part Time
• Must have excellent Customer Service skills
• Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
