Job description

FutureFuel Chemical Company in Batesville, Arkansas, is looking for a Weekend Security Coordinator.

About The Position

This position works a defined shift schedule under the supervision of the Health and Safety Technologist. The current schedule for this position is Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Although this is a 24-hour workweek, full-time benefits will still be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides security from Building 3N01 and admits employees, visitors, and vehicles with authorized passes into the plant in accordance with established procedures.
• Manages truck entries and exits, including issuing scale tickets and required paperwork for outgoing shipments.
• Assists in handling emergencies within the plant.
• Monitors local weather reports and provides "severe weather" advisory service for the plant.
• Requires knowledge of the FFCC emergency plan, emergency call‑out procedures, HSE alarm system, LENEL card access system, telephone system, and SAFER system.
• Requires the ability to deal courteously and tactfully with people in a wide range of situations.
